NIW 140 approved on Nov 19, 2008
EB1A 140 still waiting....Hopefully, they can approve it soon.
Background:
PhD from a middle ranked US Univ (~top 40). (publications >200 due to
working
in a big collaboration. For those who knows the field well, authored
publication means nothing)
Postdoc in a different but related field at a top Univ while submitting
the
petition (5 publications, 3 first author, 2 second author)
Now work at a mid-west Univ as a faculty
No review experiences, two paid memberships. 2 Federal funded grants. 7
letters (1 from China, 1 from UK, 1 PhD advisor, 1 postdoc advisor, 3 from
top
US Univ).
Regular background, no outstanding profile. Cross fingers for EB1A 140.....
